The Assessor’s Office is responsible for appraising all properties in Wallowa County for property tax purposes.

This includes residential, commercial, recreational, industrial, farm, forest, manufactured structures and business personal property.

The office is also responsible for administering special programs such as special assessments, senior deferral, veteran and active duty military exemptions, farm deferral, forestland deferral, and various other property tax exemptions.

Plat maps, property information, and ownership are also maintained by the Assessor’s office.
