Notice to Wallowa County
The Wallowa County Board of Commissioners continues to ask our community to take precautions advised by our heath care community in regards to your personal well being.
The Governor has asked businesses to have written plans as to how they plan to mitigate spread of Covid-19 while reopening. These plans should include how they plan to minimize virus contact with employees, patrons, owners, and the community at large.
We ask that individuals take responsibility for decisions regarding contact with our most vulnerable populations such as our elderly and people with underling health conditions. We continue to ask voluntary measures in mitigating risk to the citizens of Wallowa County and those who come to visit. We have full confidence that our community will pull through this crisis and we will pull together for our common good.
We care about you and we are working with State and Federal Representatives and Local Medical and Emergency Service personnel to keep informed on the ever changing and sometimes conflicting information.
Please make sure to refer to the local, State and National information posting sites. Along with the CDC’s website located at www.cdc.gov, with NEOEDD’s website located at www.neoedd.org, www.oregonlive.com and any other news source including our local Wallowa Memorial Hospital’s weekly update for further information or updates.
